bravo kaitlin (aka kato-kaitlin)on the excellent early 90's party

although I have to say I felt like a complete tool
walking around with a turtle neck sweater,
which I will blame 100% on g3po and my brother
(who both went out thrift store shopping weeks in advance
not telling me a thing dressed to the nines in full blown party gear)

I get to find out the party has an early 90's theme
about a 1/2 hour before the whole thing starts

scenario:

...quickly looking around my closet scanning for anything slightly resembling
a ripped flannel or bad early 90's concert T...seeing nothing, nothing even close...
no bulls 3-peat shirts, no air jordans, no jean jackets with STP, Nirvana or Mudhoney patches,
no blood sugar sex magic chili pepper posters, no lime green jubazz pants,
nothing, not even a slap bracelet or charlotte hornets cap...

but I did get the pleasure once again to talk to strappy girl(sans straps)
that everyone in the world like(which everyone reminds me)
but had a nice bathroom line convo

as well as a girl who I had once emailed but never got a response
only now to tell me that she only did that
because she had a boyfriend then,
but now doesn't
and wants to hang out and talk sometimes,
but somewhere I don't wanna give her the satisfaction,
but still then again again wouldn't mind going out with someone...

I don't know, why do girls do that
why even give out an email if you don't want to reply?,
why not just tell me
"...sorry but I have a boyfriend..."

I don't understand this psyche one bit, I mean I have
talked to many close girl friends and many have told me:
"ohh I always give out number or emails but don't respond, I just want to be
nice when someone goes out of there way to ask me..."

NICE?, why NOT just saying

sorry but I would love to but.... "No dice ma...."

it makes no sense, I mean I probably should hang out with her
sometime, she seems pretty cool, but I think I will definitely let her
email me first, unless she got a boyfriend in between now and the last time
we talked.
