Tommy Boy...We're All Screwed...
I can't believe terry schiavo made it into one of my blogs
we shouldn't even know about the case in the first place
it should have remained private and stayed within the
immediate family.
This bush bible-belt neo-conservative christianity has got to go.
(hey hey... ho ho...
this penis party's got to go...
hey hey... ho ho...
this penis party's got to go)
It reeks of the highest form of hypocracy in the history of
man kind. How can these religious freaks preach about the sanctity of life
with a woman who has been brain dead for 15 years and can't even extend a single
iota of help to a homeless person who has complete function over his/her physical
processes,(even when they are drunk as poets on payday)
It just makes me mad that they waste all of this energy on unborn fetuses
and brain dead patients, instead of helping out the people who could
really use some help and change their life for the better.
the night they had an immediate congressional hearing, how many homeless people
died in the U.S... probably thousands and we are sitting her wasting our time on
one person's private life that isn't even our business.
anyways sorry bout the rant...feels good to get it out
new all time low fox reality shows
michael jackson molesting terry schiavo in real time?
please feel free to offer other considerations

i'm with you.
just saw the sweetest bit of theatre I've seen in a long time.
called "letting go of god". a 3 hour monologue by julia sweeney. heartfelt, smart, and funny. it brought tears to my eyes several times.
i'm as worried as the rest of us, if not more, about the rise of religion in the world, particularly in our own government. i'm just banking on making it through the next four years without too many disasters.
anyway, anybody who has the chance to see this play, I urge you to do so. letting go of god was fucking awesome. if you go to her website you'll see her extra-curricular activities. It's Pat may end up being a big influence... I hope.
