typing under water

the beginning of the singleman affair residency
started last night and I really had a great time
although as per usual there had to be a bunch of
major snafu's to maintain my high anxiety level

I remember feeling really good walking into the hideout
with the sun still shining and my head thinking
this is gonna be simple, hook up the projector and then
tune up the guisitars and then its go time

the minute you think those things is the minute
you knew you shouldn't have

you should always anticipate disaster
that way you are always ready
what the hell was I thinking

when I got there the s-video cable was busted
and the video projector wouldn't communicate
with windows media player
I had to then play all of the movies through quicktime
which sucks because it won't allow you to expand to a full screen

another quick note
if you start a show at 6:30
pace yourself, I was wasted by 9:00pm
it was kinda like when you get a keg at 5:00pm for a party
and you are passed out in the living room before
the first person even arrives.
